Constructive Communication – a specialist in public relations and marketing communications for professional service firms and members of a variety of technical industries – recently received first place in the 2011 Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) National Marketing Communications Awards Program.
The SMPS National Marketing Communications Awards Program is the longest-standing, most prestigious awards competition that recognizes excellence in marketing communications by professional services firms in the design and building industry. Open to both SMPS members and nonmembers employed in U.S. and international firms, communication projects completed between January 2009 and December 2010 were accepted for the 2011 competition. All winners were honored during the SMPS National Conference held Aug. 24-26 in Chicago, Ill.
Among hundreds of entries from Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry firms throughout the U.S. and SMPS chapters, Constructive Communication was selected to receive the first place award for a PR campaign for the external newsletter called Doka Xpress, The Formwork Magazine. CCI worked together with Diana Sanicki, Marketing Manager at Doka USA Ltd., to create an external newsletter that showcases Doka’s projects, formwork solutions and techniques. For Doka’s customers, the campaign focused on sharing industry expertise by educating customers and positioning Doka as the Formwork Experts.
