The American Concrete Institute (ACI) introduced its new president, vice president, and four board members during the ACI Spring 2010 Convention in Chicago.

New ACI president Richard D. Stehly, principal of American Engineering Testing Inc., Minneapolis, officially assumed his one-year term at the convention. Meanwhile, James K. Wight, F.E. Richart Jr. Collegiate Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich., began his two-year term as vice president.

In addition to these two officers, four new board members began three-year terms. David A. Lange, professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, Ill., was appointed chair of ACI's Technical Activities Committee. Denis Mitchell, James McGill Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics at McGill University, Montreal; Jack Moehle, professor of the civil and environmental engineering department at the University of California, Berkeley, Calif.; and David H. Sanders, professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, Nev., joined the ACI Board of Direction.
