Bill Palmer, former consultant at Complete Construction Consultants, has rejoined Hanley Wood as Editorial Director for the Commercial Construction Group magazines and websites.
“Bill is regarded as both a leading expert on the commercial construction industry, as well as an accomplished executive and general manager in magazines and website publishing,” says Pat Carroll, Executive Director, Commercial Construction Group.
At Hanley Wood, Palmer will oversee the existing magazines and websites, including Concrete Construction, Concrete Surfaces, The Concrete Producer, Public Works, Concrete Construction Products, as well as the group’s e-newsletter and webcast initiatives.

In addition to his department director responsibilities, Palmer will be Editor in Chief of Concrete Construction, a role that he is very familiar with. Palmer was a Hanley Wood employee from 1998 to 2007, working first as Editor of Masonry Construction and then for nearly seven years as Editor in Chief of Concrete Construction, helping to guide the brand through its greatest growth in its 50-year history.
