The American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) will hold its twelfth Annual Conference on September 12-15, 2013 at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square, Columbus, OH. Concrete contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and other industry professionals will gather for three days of educational and networking opportunities and fun. Speakers include Bruce Suprenant, Dr. David Darwin, and Kevin MacDonald.
Wally Adamchik, Firestarter, is the keynote speaker. Adamchik will also conduct one of four new workshops at the Conference. His workshop is “Construction Leadership A to Z.” Other workshops are Rocky Geans Concrete Construction Business School, Promoting Your Company: How to Gain Awareness and Tell Your Story to Increase Business and Profit, and Using Smart Technology in the Field. “The workshops will be half- to full-day sessions, “said co-chair Jeremy Clark, Stego Industries, “and are designed to foster interaction between the presenters and the participants.”
The ACI/CRSI adhesive anchor certification class and exam will be offered Thursday, September 12. Golf at the Players Club and sporting clays at The Black Wing Shooting Center will be offered Saturday afternoon.
The ASCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of those who build with concrete, and to providing them a unified voice in the construction industry. Members include concrete contracting firms, manufacturers, suppliers and others interested in the concrete industry such as architects, associations and educators. There are approximately 470 member companies in the United States and 8 foreign countries.
