New Mexico’s oldest and largest minority-run concrete company has poured more than 1.7 million yards of concrete and counting. Chavez Concrete was founded in 1952 by Edward Z. Chavez. Today, the company is headed by Edward G. Chavez, Robert Chavez, Dan Chavez, and Mark Chavez. While reaching new heights yearly, the basic values, principals and knowledge laid by the late Edward Z. Chavez are still used to this day.

Chavez Concrete is a turnkey concrete contractor known for completing projects on time and on budget. The contractor has proven long lasting relationships with customers and vendors by exceeding their expectations and gaining their trust, through performance, commitment, quality, and capability.

“We operate with a current modification rate of 0.77 and maintain a strong team of leaders and employees,” says Mark Chavez. “Effective training and a family environment create a company that is only as good as the employees who make the difference.”
