The ASCC Concrete Executive Leadership Forum (CELF, formerly the CEO Forum) is an event too good to miss! I attend many industry meetings during the year and none come close to the CELF for the chance to mingle with the cream of the concrete construction industry. And just because you’ve never attended before or you’re a smaller company, don’t think you won’t be able to get a lot out of this meeting. We have planned it this year to make sure first-timers will get connected. This is a completely inclusive event that you will walk away from with ideas to easily save your company thousands of dollars almost immediately.

This year’s CELF is set at the Lodge at Torrey Pines just north of San Diego—truly one of the most beautiful spots in North America. Speakers will include Richard Picciotto, a firefighter who barely escaped the World Trade Center collapse, and construction economist Anirban Basu. There will also be golf, croquet, sailing, great meals, and the best socializing in the concrete construction industry. You’ll make friends that last a lifetime. I know I always ask this question, but I’m going to ask it again: Is it just that successful concrete contractors attend the CELF or is it that attending the CELF makes concrete contractors successful? That will be up to you to decide!
