How would you like to meet 50 of the most successful concrete contractors in the United States and have the chance to learn what they are doing right? That’s what happens at the ASCC Concrete Executive Leadership Forum and it will happen in July at one of the country’s most beautiful resorts.
If you have ever gone to an ACI convention, you know that it’s mostly about work—meetings and technical presentations only briefly interrupted by receptions and meals. But the CELF is different. Sure there are great sessions where you will learn valuable things—especially the roundtables—but more important is the opportunity to meet leaders from every sector of the concrete industry in a relaxed setting. I always come away with at least 10 ideas for articles—and a couple of new friends.
This year’s CELF is being held at the Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.V. on July 16 to 19. The Greenbrier has been considered one of America’s top resorts since 1778. Speakers this year include Denise Hauser, Baker Concrete, who will discuss employee compensation strategies; and the always popular Anirban Basu, the most entertaining and insightful construction economist I’ve ever heard.
I can’t encourage you enough to consider come to the CELF. Sure, it’s expensive but nothing one good idea won’t pay for. If you have any questions about the Forum, please let me know. I would be glad to discuss it with you.
