Since he founded Precision Concrete Construction in 1986, Leonard J. Moniz Jr. has guided the company from a one-truck place-and-finish operation to a multimillion dollar, full-capability concrete contractor. The company has constructed vast total-frame concrete structures and industrial facilities for customers such as Porsche, KIA, Bridgestone, and Baxter Pharmaceuticals.

Precision uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to produce precise estimates, discover conflicts before construction, demonstrate formwork cycling, and reduce time and material waste. On the job, Precision uses project collaboration tools to gather, process, and share project data with owners, employees, general contractors, and subcontractors.

Precision recently completed over 1 million hours of work without a lost time accident and has been recognized for safe practices by clients, insurance providers, and industry organizations such as the American Society of Concrete Contractors. Precision’s full-time safety staff facilitates ongoing classroom training, a mobile safety van, daily huddles, a stretch and flex program, and a management safety review program.
