Doka USA holds open house
The formwork engineering and products company, Doka USA recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony opening its new state-of-the-art 21-acre facility in Channahon, Ill. The $12-million facility will help serve the continually growing formwork demand in the Midwest region. The new facility offers large office spaces for employees in operations, engineering, and sales, as well as an expansive showroom, warehouse, reconditioning and pre-assembly shop, customer training center, and a 4000-square-foot showroom. The 8200-square-foot office area features 40 workstations and 6½ acres of outdoor concrete-paved storage space.
The facility's construction boasts a contemporary look and a design that incorporated the use of exposed concrete. Doka's own formwork was used to construct the building, and the reception area showcases the exposed concrete. For more information, visit www.dokausa.com.
