Every three years, the world's construction and production industry executives gather for a weeklong event in Munich, Germany. Bauma 2007 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from April 23–29, 2007 is arranged with the flavor of a European trade fair. The exhibition attracts more than 2500 exhibitors from 47 countries who display every type of equipment imaginable.

This year, the editors of Concrete Construction, Masonry Construction, and The Concrete Producer will host a special behind-the-scenes tour for readers to learn about European construction techniques and products during Bauma 2007.

With the help of Messe München International (MMI, Munich Trade Fairs International Group), we are developing an exclusive tour package. The package will include a six-night stay at a choice of two Munich hotels, a special behind-the-scenes breakfast on Tuesday, April 24, and a reception on Wednesday, April 25. On Thursday and Friday, tour members will have an opportunity to receive a guided tour of certain concrete plants and jobsites demonstrating current construction practices. The package will not include airfare or meals. The tour costs $270 and also includes a weeklong show pass and program guide.

The number of people who can attend will be limited, as hotel space is extremely tight. If you are interested in learning more about this travel package contact Carol Brodsky, TTI Travel, at 27 Park Place, Ste 221, New York, NY 10007, by phone at 866-674-3476, or via e-mail cbrodsky@ttitravel.net.
