The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) introduced a new certification level for its Pervious Concrete Contractor Certification Program. Called the Pervious Concrete Installer, the new level helps to identify those who can construct pervious concrete pavements but have not yet achieved the necessary work experience needed to achieve the Craftsman certification level. To earn certification, you must already be an ACI Flatwork Finisher Technician, complete the NRMCA written exam with a passing score of 75%, demonstrate proper placement practices, and document three projects with a minimum total of 10,000 square feet.
This new level elevates the qualifications of those currently holding the Technician-level certification, who are eligible to upgrade. The program will begin by early September.
