Seven workers were injured May 20 at a residential building construction site in Downtown Los Angeles. According to reports the workers were pouring concrete when the floor they were working on collapsed. Fortunately none of the injuries were life threatening but OSHA is expected to investigate

According to CBS 2 Los Angeles:

“It wasn’t as much a rescue effort as much as it was patient care in this case because there were no persons actually trapped underneath the concrete,” Chief David Perez of the LAFD said. “Everybody was on top of the concrete or out of the way.”
