Portuguese architect Joao Mendes Ribeiro designed this 1,937 ft. two-story concrete house in Fartosa, Portugal. The house, with a great example of a gable, was built on land that had a vineyard and olive trees.

Minimal, whitewashed interiors feature wood floors, unadorned surfaces, and broad windows that frame views of the valley outside. A concrete wine cellar in the basement is a nice finishing touch to the general air of low key luxury.
