As the trend moves more and more towards building sustainable buildings, the World Green Building Council (WGBC) is hoping to bring together the public and private partnerships to help reduce green house gas emissions from buildings. According to the United Nations Environment Program, buildings today can account for as much as a third of global greenhouse gas emissions. To reduce the impact, Terri Willis at WGBC is leading the C40, Cities Climate Leadership Group, to provide individuals a forum to share their expertise and ideas to find innovative ways to tackle global climate change.
