Most of the photos used in the article “Forming for Decorative Concrete” (August 2005, p. 56) depicted poor concrete formwork. Assuming that a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a photo showing the good form lines often missing on decorative concrete projects. Those interested may also want to get a copy of our Field Manual, which illustrates the proper techniques and sequential steps required to assure consistently good formwork for both straight and radius decorative concrete.
