In collaboration with Hanley Wood, LLC, the Concrete Joint Sustainability Initiative is presenting several live GREENSITE sessions. Look for the partnership's logo at the GREENSITE area in Central Hall.
The former Joint Sustainability Initiative is sporting a new name and logo this week at the World of Concrete: Concrete Joint Sustainability Initiative.
Formed in the spring of 2009, Concrete Joint Sustainability is a partnership between more than 20 concrete industry associations that helps promote the social value of concrete structures by providing advocacy, technology, and educational resources. The goal is to unify the industry so member associations can work together to present a common message as they address sustainability issues.
The partnership is not an association it has no staff. However, it does have a steering committee comprised of American Concrete Institute, Portland Cement Association, and National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.
