On May 9, 2012, the RMC Research & Education Foundation will hold its 2nd Annual Walk for Sustainability. The event will be held in conjunction with NRMCA’s International Concrete Sustainability Conference (ICSC) in Seattle, WA. Join in spreading awareness of how the work of the Foundation is positively impacting the sustainable development initiative, within the concrete and construction industries as well as throughout communities around the United States and abroad. Your participation and help with raising additional tax-deductible contributions to support the Foundation will allow this great work to continue for years to come. Please click on the link below to quickly and easily set up your own page to solicit and track fundraising for your participation in the Walk for Sustainability.

Walkers are asked set a goal to raise at least $250 in support of their effort. The walk, which will take place in the area of the ICSC host hotel, the Renaissance Seattle Hotel, will be around two miles. It will begin at 6:30 a.m. (registration to start at 6:00 a.m. with coffee) and should concluded by 7:30 a.m. allowing conference participants with enough time to freshen up and have breakfast before conference sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the walker who raises the most money and the walker who garners the most supporters.
