Spancrete, the leader in the precast/prestressed concrete industry, announced the recent addition of Chuck Gilbert to the role of regional sales manager in Illinois where he will oversee sales of Spancrete products and services throughout Illinois.
Gilbert brings more than 30 years of construction and precast concrete experience to his new role and will use his extensive knowledge of precast building systems to build customer relationships and grow the company's Illinois precast business. In particular, Gilbert will promote the company's wide array of products, as well as capitalize on Spancrete's value-engineering and design-assist capabilities.
"The sales process is always easier when you can establish trust with the customers you aim to please," explains Gilbert. "Given Spancrete's extensive product line and value-added services, I can ensure a correct, cost-effective application for every project."
Previously, Gilbert was a sales professional with a precaster in the Illinois area. He's been actively involved with more than 200 precast concrete projects, including a multitude of parking decks.
"Not only is Chuck in tune with the Chicago construction landscape, but he's also well-versed on the benefits of using pecast," says Jim Clapper, vice president of sales for Spancrete. "Naturally we're excited to have him on board and eager for Spancrete to become a dominant force in the local construction market."
