In order to focus on its core aerial equipment business, Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), Westport, Conn., announced it has sold the Terex generator product line to Cummins Power Generation. Warranty support for Cummins-brand units will begin immediately, while support for Terex-brand machines will cease at the end of 2010. Terex AWP will provide parts support for 180 days from date of sale, at which point Cummins will assume parts support responsibility.
In other company news, 16 Terex Service Centers and more than 200 Terex Aerial Work Platforms field and service technicians located throughout the United States are equipped to provide maintenance and repair services for all makes and models of aerial, cranes, telehandlers, utility equipment, winches, service bodies, and lighting. Additional offerings will include frequent and annual inspection services; maintenance contracts; warranty and service bulletin work; damage and routine repairs; and insurance estimates.
