The results are in for Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based Wacker Neuson's Ride-On Trowel Challenge, held during World of Concrete. Lee Hadenfeldt of H&H Concrete and Construction, Doniphan, Neb., maneuvered through a 2000-square-foot obstacle with the winning time of 68:16. Hadenfeldt took home a customized CRT 48-35VX ride-on trowel powered by a special Vanguard Big Block V-twin engine. Contestants competed Tuesday through Thursday during the show demonstrating their skills. Competitors with the top 10 times faced off in the finals on Thursday, which combined with their preliminary time, determined the winner. Runner up Ricky Ruiz, Slater & Son Concrete, Sacramento, Calif., came in with the time of 68:19, a mere 0:03 seconds behind Hadenfeldt.
