With the primary goal of increasing attendees and exhibitors from Canada at World of Concrete and promoting the use of concrete and masonry in the commercial construction industries, World of Concrete Director Jackie James, will travel to Toronto in late June to participate in a trade mission hosted by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).
The LVCVA has conducted about 15 of these missions, specifically for trade show producers focused on increasing their international business, working with the U.S. Department of Commerce in countries such as Mexico, China, Brazil, Panama, Colombia and more.
“The International attendee has been a focus for World of Concrete for more than 10 years. Because World of Concrete attracts the latest products and technologies from around the globe, building our international attendee and exhibitor base has been a priority for us. Our show has been selected for 10 consecutive years to be part of the International Buyer Program by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and this trip is a great opportunity to continue to build brand awareness with our neighbors to the North for World of Concrete,” said James.
WOC is the construction industry’s largest annual international event for concrete and masonry professionals featuring more than 600,000 square feet of the newest products, ideas, and technologies from 1,300+ exhibiting companies.
Business skills, safety training, concrete construction knowledge, and certifications — World of Concrete offers the competitive, smart construction professional a world-class Education Program that adds more value to their show experience. Offering 100+ expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, live demonstrations, and hands-on training opportunities, WOC provides the most comprehensive education program in the industry.
