Best New Products Named

The winners of the 2008 Most Innovative Products contest have been selected and the result is an exciting array of new materials and equipment.

Both World of Concrete attendees and the Industry Expert judges had their hands full this year reviewing 145 entries in 14 different categories. WOC attendees and readers of CONCRETE AND MASONRY CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS, CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION, MASONRY CONSTRUCTION, and THE CONCRETE PRODUCER were invited to vote online for their single favorite product in each category. As a side note, although this was the first time for all online voting, the number of ballots cast was up significantly from all previous years.

The panel of Industry Experts evaluated the innovativeness of every product in each category, which in several cases led to multiple awards within a single category. All in all, it proves once again that innovation is alive and well in the concrete and masonry production and construction industries.
