The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) (Booth C4637), Mount Vernon, Iowa, recently released two new books to the concrete construction marketplace.

The second edition of The Architecture of Tilt-Up comes in a new large format (10x10 inches). Marking many of the dramatic changes from the 2004 edition, the second edition includes colorful imagery of some of the best tilt-up projects of the past five years along with significant updates to the construction section and the addition of a chapter on sustainability.

Further, the book includes new techniques, rendered 3D details and evidence of great strides of tilt-up innovation.

The Architecture of Tilt-Up is available for $115 for nonmembers or $95 for members. For orders of 10 or more, each book is available at a reduced rate of $75.

In addition, the association released its superintendent job log books for members.

Made with waterproof front and back covers, the book is wire-bound with heavyweight pages. The book allows superintendents to keep records for the American Concrete Institute (ACI) (Booth S10338) and TCA certification program, track education and seminar attendance, work experience, personal awards, supplier information, and emergency numbers. In addition, several handy items, such as conversion tables and safety checklists, are included.

Offering an industry standard for record keeping, the log books are available for $12.50 each or for $10 each when ordering 10 or more books. TCA members can order the log books at www.tilt-up.org.
