Decorative concrete is becoming more important in the competitive world of concrete construction. To recognize the concrete community’s innovative contributions to decorative concrete, Concrete Construction will award the sixth annual Decorative Concrete Project of the Year.

Winners will be recognized in a special feature article in Concrete Construction’s November issue and all entries will be recognized on our website.

ELIGIBILITY

This contest is focused on projects that show a concrete contractor’s specific involvement in promoting decorative concrete.

1. A project must use a significant amount of decorative concrete and be the defining element of the project.
2. The project must be completed between Nov. 1, 2010 and July 1, 2011.
3. The project can be located anywhere in the world.

Each contractor, contracting company, or materials supplier may submit up to THREE projects. Projects must be submitted separately.

HOW TO ENTER

There is no fee for entering. Entries must be received by the deadline extended , Sept. 2, 2011, including the following components: 

STEP ONE: Complete the online entry form
Here you will submit all of the project information and complete the photo release.

STEP TWO: Submit project photos
Submit up to 10 digital photos of your project. Photos must show at least one overall view of the project, one shot taken during construction (if available), and one of the completed project. Images should be high resolution JPEG or TIF files, 4x6 inches at 300 dpi (dots per inch), or of print publishing quality.

You have three options for how to submit your project photos:

1. Upload using this online form
Depending on the size of the images, upload time can vary. DO NOT close your browser until you reach the Thank You screen. If you experience problems uploading, your images are most likely too large. Choose another option for uploading or contact cceditor@hanleywood.com.

2. Send up to 10 high resolution photos on CD to the following address:

*Projects lacking any of the required supporting documentation will be disqualified.
