On the South Arizona Avenue Corridor Improvements project, the designer wanted to create an achitectural hardscape that would impress pedestrians and update and help revitalize downtown Chandler.
Progressive Hardscapes used Lithocrete with four different blends of recycled glass seeded with 100% coverage. The seat wall caps also were constructed using Lithocrete, with 100% glass coverage and a ground-polished finish. Hidden expansion joints were used at each construction joint where the Lithocrete color changed.
