VandeWater owned his own decorative concrete contracting company for 18 years in the Indianapolis area. Now he sells decorative products, provides training, and troubleshoots for a ready-mix producer.

VandeWater developed a texture stamp pattern to simulate mosaics for the demos. He patterned fresh concrete during the first day. He stamped surrounding areas of the concrete with other patterns to add interest. The following day he drew a graphic on the mosaic pattern, engraved the lines, added water-based coloring, and sealed his work with a solvent acrylic sealer.
