Although each was sponsored by a manufacturer, all went well beyond promoting a product to showing how to perform a specific task on a concrete slab. Using a Screed Support System
A simple way to support a pipe screed is the Mako system, as described by Mike Telford. The pipes are held firmly in place to result in a high-tolerance flat floor over a subbase or a vapor barrier. Simply pounding in a piece of rebar and positioning the pipe from that allows little elevation adjustment, but this system overcomes that limitation.
