In the September 1985 issue, Concrete Construction inaugurated a series of articles on good construction practices for residential concrete. The series was prepared with the following groups of people in mind: home builders, large and small; concrete subcontractors; craftsmen; homeowners; building and zoning officials; officials of financial institutions. The articles are intended to acquaint concerned people with concrete materials and mixtures, good construction practices, and the results one should have a right to expect, provided a clear agreement and understanding have been established by the people involved before construction begins.
