We would like to saw the joints in a new floor being placed in a pharmaceuticals building. Because the building is in use, there are strict limitations on dust. Is there any way to eliminate or remove the dust?
Abrasive blades produce dust because they are used for dry sawing. Diamond blades are always used with cooling water and they produce no dust. With a diamond blade, however, you may have a job in removing the water from the floor. Water is used at the rate of 5 to 20 gallons per minute depending on the size of saw used.
