What is the best way to get a smooth surface on white concrete?
If possible, smooth surfaces should be avoided on white concrete because differences in texture and color show up more markedly than on normal gray or colored concrete. There is also a slightly increased tendency for white concrete surfaces to craze. The crazing is much more apparent on smooth surfaces than on textured surfaces. It may also be helpful to use a form release agent that has a very slight retarding effect in order to produce a surface that is not quite so smooth.
