Isn't there some way to simulate a rope finish with form liners and thus avoid the tedious work of inlaying individual lengths of rope, as well as the complicated stripping, salvaging and cleanup?
Some contractors are now using an elastomeric form liner that produces a rope-textured finish with good fidelity of transfer. For concrete textured with rope or many other patterns, even those with severe undercuts, the proper elastomeric form liner can be effective and deliver many reuses.
