A client would like to have broad expanses of concrete in which no tie holes can be seen. Is it possible to obscure tie holes?
If holes are small and the surface texture is rough they can often be plugged flush with the surface in a way that conceals them. If the surface of the concrete is smooth, however, the tie holes will usually be obvious. For this reason it is better to accentuate the holes by partially filling them and leaving the holes in a carefully preplanned pattern that will highlight the design.
