What form release agents should be used with white concrete?
The manufacturer can usually tell you whether his release agent is 100 percent nonstaining. To be completely safe it is best to evaluate one or more form release agents by testing several small trial batches on forms coated with the agents and selecting the one that suits the job conditions best. Form release agents that contain lacquer or stearate emulsified in a base of paraffinic or naphthenic crudes are ordinarily satisfactory. Paraffinic base materials are usually better than naphthenic.
