Artistry in Decorative Concrete 2012: CIM Students

CIM Students started with polyfoam shapes, precut on a hot-wire table.

The foam blocks were anchored to the slab with rebar pins drilled and epoxied into the concrete. Spray adhesive was used to glue the many pieces together.

To complete the work, students sprayed water-based colored stains. A graphic representation of the Brooklyn Bridge on the left and the Golden Gate Bridge on the right is depicted.

Shown here is part of the CIM student group that performed the work.
