Construction Safety Training

Many OSHA standards explicitly require employers to train employees in the safety and health aspects of their jobs. This includes things like ladder safety, scaffold safety, and hazard communication.

OSHA Outreach Training programs are not required by OSHA, but they help an employer fulfill its obligation to provide a safe and healthy workplace by teaching workers how to recognize hazards that may occur at construction sites, and what to do avoid these hazards.

The OSHA Outreach Training Program is an educational program developed by OSHA and administered through a network of OSHA Training Institute Education Centers.
