Rising to Any Height

For the 2010 Football World Cup in South Africa, four stadiums were built or extended with the help of formwork and scaffolding systems, including the 70,000-capacity Greenpoint Stadium in Cape Town.

The new Warsaw national Stadium, future home of the 2012 European Football Championship, will hold 55,000 spectators in the stands and 1800 cars in its underground parking levels thanks to a comprehensive formwork assembly.

The Mercedes-Benz Arena is being converted into a pure football stadium with a capacity of 60,000 spectators.

The Ratiopharm Arena in Neu-Ulm, Germanya multifunctional hall able to accommodate a variety of cultural events and up to 9000 spectatorsis using form shoring towers.

The roof construction of the new ice arena in Sochi, which will host the 2014 Winter Olympics, is supported by a total of 17 steel girders, each one up to 12 m. high.
