Dutch designer Piet Boon created a collection of concrete wallpaper, which offers eight different cement-like designs perfect for achieving that “bomb shelter” aesthetic. Though using the ‘real thing’ would be our choice, the wallpaper is printed at a super high resolution—the photo-realistic images will surely fool even the trained eye. It is made from heavy-duty wallpaper and covered with a top layer of paper and non-woven backing, is easy to apply, and washable with a soft cloth. Perhaps the concrete industry can invent some new designs for the collection? To see the entire collection, visit www.pietboon.com.
