2012 CIM Annual Auction
Help support the industry by bidding on a variety of prizes at the CIM Annual Auction. Proceeds fund the highly acclaimed Concrete Industry Management (CIM) programs at Arizona State University, California State University at Chico, Middle Tennessee State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Texas State University. This is the seventh year the CIM National Steering Committee—with the World of Concrete Show Management, Hanley Wood Publications, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, and patron groups of each program university—has sponsored the event.
Last year, $398,000 was raised for the business-intensive program that awards students a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in concrete industry management. Over the years, a total of more than $2 million has been raised. Show your support this year and walk away with some great items!
The auction will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25 with bid registration at 11 a.m., the silent auction at 11 a.m.–1 p.m., and the live auction at 1 p.m.–2 p.m.

This year at WOC, Concrete Construction presents two special luncheons—giving you the opportunity to network and learn, all while enjoying lunch! Both luncheons will be held in the South Hall, Level 2 on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 12 p.m.–2 p.m.
Quality in Concrete Slabs Luncheon & Forum
How do you define a great floor and how are a great floor’s attributes measured? This two-hour forum provides you the opportunity to participate in helping to define quality in slabs and floors beyond flatness and levelness.
Topics will include flatness, levelness, surface durability, joint durability, moisture content, aesthetics, owner satisfaction, and what we can do to achieve a good slab and control the project.

The sixth annual Women in Concrete Luncheon & Forum will answer the question, “How can we create job growth for women in the concrete construction industry?”
