By now you may have noticed some changes to the Concrete Surfaces brand in 2013, the most recent being the launch of our first digital edition, which appeared in your inbox in April. (If you didn’t receive it, click here.) The digital issue is devoted to the demos and projects from the attendee-favorite Concrete Surfaces Decorative Pavilion at this year’s World of Concrete in Las Vegas. We’ve recapped how — in the span of four days — artisans turned gray concrete into decorative showpieces. We hope to continue to bring you this WOC recap in years to come.
Another recent change is the addition of myself as Editor. Tom Bagsarian will still be with the magazine in an expanded role as Group Managing Editor of all of Hanley Wood’s commercial group publications.
After working for several years as managing editor of Concrete Surfaces’ sister magazine Public Works, contributing to Concrete Construction Products, and attending quite a few World of Concrete shows, I come to you as no stranger to the concrete construction market. However, I look forward to developing a deeper understanding of the industry. And as I do, I will share that information with you through the pages of Concrete Surfaces.
I also want to develop a better understanding of the CS audience — what you enjoy reading about in our magazine, what features you like best on our Web page and in our enewsletters, and what you’d like to see more of.
