The competition consists of a series of activities designed to test precertified drivers' operating skills of front-end loaders, including: figure-eight pattern driving, ball drop, accurate rear-stops, and more.

Mack Truck Safety Competition

Bring your ready-mix truck certification and show off your skills at safely maneuvering through a challenging obstacle course.

Masonry Action Stations

Live "How To" education action stations will take place on the show floor during World of Masonry. Every program is free, one hour in length and approved for one MCAA certification credit.

"My Skills Are No Bull" Bosch Power Tool Challenge
Tuesday-Thursday, Feb. 2-4, 2010, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
This daily competition tests contestants on safety knowledge and tool usage by simulating tasks performed by concrete and mason contractors. Challenges include demolition, measuring, drilling, and fastening. Register onsite!

MCAA International Masonry Skills Challenge
Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Watch masonry apprentices in first-, second-, and third-year skill levels build projects without ever having seen the drawings. Come and see who wins top honors this year!

Toughest Tender Competition
Wednesday, Feb. 3, 11:30 a.m.
Mason tenders compete for the title of Toughest Tender. Watch as the winners of regional competitions race to set up their work zones.

Spec Mix Bricklayer 500 Competition
Wednesday, Feb. 3, 12 p.m.
Twenty of the country's best bricklayer/tender teams compete for the title of "World's Best Bricklayer." Watch the teams build a 26-foot double-wythe wall in an hour.

Fastest Trowel On The Block
Thursday, Feb. 4, 12 p.m.-1:30 p.m.

Twenty journeyman masons and their two tenders will compete in both speed and craftsmanship with the goal of completing as much of an 18-blocklong wall as possible using 8x8x16-inch CMUs and the provided mortar.
