"We had a client ask me if I could paint a couple fish on his home office floor," contractor Rick Lobdell says. "We took that a few steps further by making the entire room feel like you were sitting on top of an aquarium. We created a coral reef around the outside edge of the room. We had a large hammerhead shark swim out of the closet through kelp plants with a school of hammerheads in the center of the room that appeared to be deeper in the water. We had clown fish swimming in an anemone and a crab hanging out in the corner. We added a sea turtle climbing up the edge of the coral that the client will get to look at every day while he is sitting at his desk."

Lobdell used acetone-based dyes for color and sealed it with a urethane coating.
