It’s easy to overlook the simple yet elegant details of Charles Cudd De Novo’s 2009 Dream Home. But a closer examination reveals an immaculate home with beautiful architecture and execution.
Concrete Arts worked closely with the builder to create a series of decorative concrete applications for the home’s unique exterior. The demands of a home of this magnitude required the highest level of craftsmanship needed to coincide with the artistry of the homes’ classic décor.
With more than 3,500 square feet of stamped concrete, the stoops, walkways, patios and pool areas were stamped with a traditional Grand Ashlar Slate pattern with a Random Stone border. Flowing curves, subtle colorants and effective design scoring were applied to create focal points in both the expansive entertaining areas as well as the quaint and secluded areas.
Designer’s from Charles Cudd De Novo and Concrete Arts created a custom color combination which added dimension and depth to the elegant design, while creating a seamless transition from the rest of the homes’ classic elements.
