The Blastrac 1-16DB hydraulic drive shot blaster produces a 16-in.-wide blast path that lets an operator strip, clean, and profile up to 3500 sq. ft./hr. The 1-16DB is ideal for shotblasting parking garages, industrial plant and warehouse floors, bridge decks, highways, and airport runways.
Airborne dust and contaminants generated from the blasting process are collected and contained through a 2600-cfm onboard vacuum with two 2-cu.-ft. bags mounted at the rear of the machine. Butterfly valves close off the debris chutes when the bags are off-loaded. A rear access panel facilitates the changing of vacuum filters, while the vacuum's reverse-pulse cartridge cleaning feature helps prolong filter life.
Powered by a 49-hp diesel engine, the 1-16DB meets Federal Tier-3 EPA regulations and features a 12-V DC electrical system. hydrostatic transmission drives smooth travel speeds up to 200 ft./ min. An optional blast-pattern reducer and a variety of available shot media increase the unit's productivity for line stripe and marking removal. The surface is left clean, dry, and with a bonding profile ready for immediate remarking or striping.
