Every year, a substantial amount of ready-mixed concrete is returned to the plant for disposal due to strict enforcement of the 90-minute time limit. Students at the New Jersey Institute of Technology led by Prof. Mohamed Mahgoub will try to gain a better understanding of how elapsed time affects the quality of concrete.
