During the recent National Precast Concrete Association's (NCPA) 53rd Annual Convention in Providence, Rhode Island, the Quality Assurance Committee ratified changes to the NPCA Quality Control Manual for Precast Concrete Plants. The changes to the manual are provided in two ways: a copy of the new manual with blue text highlights, and an addendum document.
The draft version of the entire NPCA Quality Control Manual for Precast Concrete Plants with the revisions is also available online. All NPCA members are invited to comment. After all member comments are considered, the QA Committee will publish the final version of the QC manual for program year 2019.
The final 14th Edition of the NPCA QC Manual will be posted after Jan. 1, 2019. Plants are encouraged to review the entire Addendum as well as all critical sections of the manual and validate that they have appropriate processes in place for these requirements.
