CarbonCure Partners with Hawaii-Based Producer HC&D Ready Mix

CarbonCure Technologies with its carbon dioxide (CO₂) utilization technologies for concrete, has formed a partnership with a second concrete producer in Hawaii, HC&D Ready Mix. This in response to the City and County of Honolulu recently passing a resolution that requests city administration to “consider post-industrial carbon dioxide mineralized concrete for use in all City and County of Honolulu capital improvement projects utilizing concrete.” Climate leadership has also been demonstrated at the state level, with the pending legislature that would require “all state building construction that uses concrete to use post-industrial carbon dioxide mineralized concrete.”
