U.S. cement shipments in February 2019 were 5.7 million metric tons, a slight decrease from shipments in February 2018. Shipments for the year through February totaled 12.1 Mt, an increase of 4.7% from those for the first two months of 2018. Masonry cement shipments totaled 160,000 metric tons in February 2019, a decrease of 5.2% from February 2018 although still up 4.6% for the year.
