Concrete Cares of Nebraska along with the Nebraska Concrete and Aggregates Association has announced the Concrete Cares of Nebraska 2014 Kickoff Event. Participants will enjoy a day of fun with music, games, fingernail painting, motorcycles, military vehicles, tow trucks, concrete trucks, pump trucks, fire trucks, and police cars. Organizers are raising money to put toward funds for cancer patients and their families. Last year’s event had about 500 attendees and raised $3,788. One of the people inspiring this effort in Nebraska is Kyle Poff at Kearney Concrete (308-440-5445, [email protected]). This is one of many Concrete Cares events planned across the U.S. before National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. For information visit www.concretecares.com.
