Although Verno n Frank hung out his shingle as a home builder in 1986, one of his first jobs was to pave the city streets of Cheviot, Ohio. Since then, Frank Builders has specialized in flatwork and also does stamped concrete, asphalt, and dry stack walls. In the single-family residential market, a job well done rarely leads to repeat business unless the customer moves or has a new project. Thus, Frank relies on customer referrals and inquiries resulting from signs posted next to newly completed work. And it helps to get publicity from an award, such as the Best of Houzz 2014 Badge Frank received from houzz.com, an online community that connects homeowners with building professionals.

Jeff and Pam Frank use their skills to help people with disabilities, starting with their son, Doug. At Doug’s home, they installed accessible concrete ramping, extra-wide driveways, and glowing concrete edges for safety.
