The Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Michael-Lee, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer, effective February 27.
“We are proud to have Ms. Michael-Lee on board to help lead the financial functions of CRSI,” said Robert J. Risser, President and CEO of CRSI. “We look forward to accomplishing more each year for our members and Ms. Michael-Lee’s guidance will be invaluable.”
Ms. Michael-Lee comes to CRSI from the American Veterinary Medical Association, where she was the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Business and Financial Services. There she was responsible for both financial and operations areas and managed the organization‘s Association, Foundation, Auxiliary, PAC, and Property Association functions. Previous to that she worked as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance/Administration/IT/HR for National Multiple Sclerosis – Greater Illinois Chapter. Her experience also includes work as the Chief Financial Officer of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Family Support America.
She is a member of Illinois CPA Society; AICPA Society; Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; National Society of Tax Professionals; Illinois CPA Not-For-Profit Board Member, and Simeon Alumni Association Board of Directors Member and Secretary. Ms. Michael-Lee received her Bachelor’s in Science in Finance/Accounting and Economics from Northern Illinois University, a Master’s of Business Administration in Financial Management from Illinois Benedictine College, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
